Eight out of 10 businesses in the US are owned or controlled by families, yet they don't get the same kind of attention that buzzy tech startups do.

Family businesses have their own unique set of challenges and opportunities, something that a dedicated network like the Family Business Exchange (FBX) can address.

FBX recently announced an upcoming workshop on everyday artificial intelligence (AI) for family businesses, to be conducted by Trent Gillespie, an industry expert and former Amazon tech leader. He will be unpacking the essentials of AI that can redefine family businesses' daily operations, demystifying the world of AI and explaining its practical applications. Family businesses can join by signing up for his talk.

"The Family Business Exchange (FBX) is a unique membership platform to support the many amazing family-owned businesses in the Pacific Northwest," said Peter Rowan, Executive Director of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center which runs FBX.
