The Application

Some important things to keep in mind when working through the application:

  • You don't need to complete the application in one sitting.
  • It's important to provide an email address that you check on a regular basis.
  • There are three essay components:
    • Why are you interested in participating in your selected program(s)?
The Albers School of Business & Economics is interested in learning more about you as an applicant! What inspires you to explore the field of entrepreneurship? What aspect of business do you want to learn more about? Was there a class/teacher that helped you find a passion for a topic? etc.
    • Please provide a brief description of your community service experiences.
Seattle University encourages students to develop a sense of responsibility for their community. Please share how you have given back to your community.
    • Please provide a brief statement of need.
The statement of need helps us better understand you as an applicant and how receiving financial assistance will help you in achieving your goals.
  • Letter of recommendation
You will be able to choose one individual to write a recommendation letter for you in support of you attending the program. Once you register them in the system they'll receive an email asking them to complete it. Make sure you follow-up with them.
    • The recommendation can come from a counselor, college coach, career adviser, teacher, principal, after school program lead, or anyone who has access to your performance as a young scholar.
