The LEMBA Experience

Accolades for LEMBA

Since its inception in 2006, the Leadership Executive MBA program has graduated hundreds of students who continue to benefit from their experience at Seattle University. They cite the rigorous business education, close relationships with faculty and classmates, and especially the unique leadership curriculum among the many valuable aspects of the LEMBA program.

We weren't just being taught how to write a pro forma or how to do statistical regression; we learned how to be better human beings through our leadership. This program changed my life, truly. It made me a better person and a better professional.

Dana Eden, LEMBA '16 Chief People Officer, Aviation Technical Services

This program gave me the tools and the confidence to step into more fulfilling leadership roles and pursue tough goals. It gave me visibility into how to think about an enterprise at a very broad level. I am now leading an organization as a Chief Executive and that is something I would not have pursued were it not for the LEMBA program.

If you’re looking to improve your business acumen and your leadership skills, and to gain confidence, I highly recommend the Seattle U Executive MBA program because that’s exactly what it did for me.

EMPLOYER PERSPECTIVE: Costco employees who have graduated from the LEMBA program have learned to integrate core business concepts. However, their ability to do so with broader notions of global connectedness, social responsibility and the interdependence of nations, industries, and people in mind has made them stand out as leaders within our company.

EMPLOYER PERSPECTIVE: At Expeditors we have seen a major change in our high-level managers evolving into true leaders after attending Seattle University's Executive Education Programs. It is not just about leading your company, but about being a leader in your community.

What I gained personally from my LEMBA experience far exceeded my initial expectations and goals. In addition to a greater sense of my own efficacy, I found an indelible sense of belonging to a “commons” of fellow learners who, as alumni, still support each other in our personal and professional endeavors.

Heather Flanagan, LEMBA '17 Executive Coach and Cultural Strategist

The EMBA program at Seattle University is more than just a business degree. This program will teach you about leadership, provide a new sense of self, and define purpose with amazing clarity.
