Current Student Scholarships

Albers is pleased to offer scholarships to students taking 6 credits or more per quarter. Scholarship amounts cannot exceed tuition and do not cover university fees. Scholarships are distributed in Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters only and contained to the academic year awarded.

Scholarship Information from the 2021-2022 Academic Year:

  • Total Amount Awarded: $105,000
  • Award Amounts: $2,500 to $6,000
  • Total Number of Eligible Applicants: 750
  • Total Number of Applications Submitted: 130
  • Total Awards: 28
  • Demographics: 50% domestic, 50% international
  • Average GMAT: 622
  • Average Albers Graduate GPA: 3.73

Who is Eligible:

Albers offers various scholarships to CURRENT graduate students in the PMBA, MBA SEM, MSF, MPAC, MSAA, and MSBA programs. Scholarships are based on financial need and academic achievement. Students need to complete and submit only ONE application form to be eligible for any of the scholarships noted below.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for these scholarships, domestic students should fill out a FAFSA via our Financial Aid Office. This FAFSA is necessary to help determine need for several of our available scholarships. International students are also encouraged to apply for the Albers Grad Scholarships. International students are not required to fill out a FAFSA.

Selection Process:

Scholarship recipients are selected based on a short essay, and current graduate performance (GPA). Scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of June.

  1. Briefly describe your financial need and how a scholarship from Albers would help you in your graduate study (Please limit your essay to a maximum of 250 words).
  2. For the coming academic year, please describe any other scholarship support you will receive and any employer support or contribution.
  3. Consider your leadership, competence, conscience, and compassion as related to the Jesuit ethos of Seattle University. Describe a time or situation where you were able to apply or live out these values (Please limit your essay to a maximum of 250 words).

    There is one scholarship that has a non-binding request that the institution select some one who is bright and accomplished, has a need for the funds and has a sense of humor. If you are interested in being considered for this scholarship, Please respond to the following question.

Genevieve Albers Graduate Fellowship

The Genevieve Albers Graduate Fellowship provides financial assistance to graduate business students in exchange for assisting Albers faculty with their academic research. This Fellowship is open to both incoming applicants and current students enrolled in a graduate program at Albers.
