Orcas Action Items: Fr. Sundborg organized the Orcas Retreat action items into 6 groups as follows: 1) Strategic Planning; 2) Institutional Reorganization/Work Across Boundaries; 3) Enrollment Strategies and Operations; 4) Financial Repositioning; 5) Student Learning and Engagement; and 6) Academic Program Review. It was suggested a seventh be added: Public Partnerships and Engagement.

Strategic Planning: The Cabinet had a productive discussion with Jen Marrone, co-chair of the Strategic Plan Steering Committee. Highlights included:

• The need to engage Cabinet and Strategic Planning Steering Group (SPSG) in a more iterative process to determine key strategic priorities
• The SPSG will meet with Cabinet meeting on July23.
• The Cabinet and SPSG will meet on the afternoon of August 27 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Willows.  Social & dinner to follow.
