All new first-year students participate in Orientation to launch their educational careers at Seattle U. This summer, we moved to online orientation due to restrictions in place to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Through a series of online events and activities all summer long, new students learned important information about academics, financial aid, housing, the many ways to get involved on campus, and much more. Many events were held as webinars and recordings are posted on the New Students + Family and Supporters web page. You can also find links to other helpful Seattle U web pages and a multitude of resources on this page. Check it out to revisit information from the summer or to explore something new.
We know that our students' supporters - family members, guardians, mentors - are their biggest champions and, often, most responsible for a student coming to Seattle University. In our online orientation program this summer, we also provided information especially for you, including ways to support your student (and yourself) as they make the transition to college. If you missed one of our webinars or want to revisit a topic, you'll find many recordings and resources posted on the New Students + Family and Supporters web page. Please visit it for more information.
We welcome all our new Redhawks and their families and supporters to Seattle U!
