Summer Orientation 2023

Summer Orientation Logo 2023

Summer Orientation is an entirely virtual experience that consists of Online Orientation Modules, New Student Checklist tasks, and a series of interactive sessions, socials, and workshops that we’ll be hosting all summer long. All of our events will be hosted through Zoom so wherever you are, near or far, you can connect with the Seattle U community. Read below to learn more about the Summer Orientaiton schedule and opportunities to connect with campus!

Summer Orientation Schedule

The Summer Orientation schedule includes interactive sessions and socials hosted by the Orientation team, campus staff and leaders, and student clubs and organizations, including the following:

  • Flock Talks: These virtual meetups are a chance to connect with fellow new Redhawks while chatting with an Orientation team member about topics related to your transition to college life at SU.
  • Orientation Socials and Drop-In Hours: Log on to these casual socials to play virtual games with fellow new Redhawks and get questions answered by an Orientation team member.
  • Campus Partner Sessions: Meet with leaders across campus to learn about academic and support resources, how to get involved and find community on campus, and get informed about life as a Redhawk at SU.
  • Student Club and Organization Socials: In August and early September, meet current Redhawks to learn about clubs and organizations you can join once you arrive on campus. These sessions will be announced in early July.
