2024 Orientation Coach

The Orientation Coach (OC) is a key leadership role that provides ongoing transition support for new students and their supporters and fosters a sense of belonging within the Redhawk community. OCs serve as a liaison between the student experience and university leaders, acting as an essential and collaborative voice in creating and implementing a holistic transition support experience at Seattle U. Additionally, OCs assist in guiding Orientation Leaders (OLs) to discover their own unique talents, fulfill their responsibilities, and create connections on campus.

We have completed hiring our 2024 Orientation Coach team. Recruitment for the 2025 Orientation Coach team will begin in Fall 2025.

2024 Orientation Leaders

Orientation Programs is looking for caring, passionate, and SU-spirited students to be a part of the 2024 Orientation Leader (OL) team. The OL position is an exciting opportunity to build community and belonging at SU while developing transferable skills that will prepare you for future career opportunities!

The Orientation Leader (OL) is a key leadership role that provides transition support for new undergraduate students and their supporters as they begin their Redhawk journey at Seattle University. OLs foster a sense of belonging within the Redhawk community by mentoring new students, creating inclusive communities, and passing on the Redhawk spirit to a new generation of Seattle U students. OLs set new first-year and transfer students up for success by facilitating transition workshops and events that help them embrace their new beginnings at Seattle U. OLs are supervised directly by the Director of Orientation Programs and report indirectly to Orientation Programs’ professional staff.
