Our Programs

UREC offers two pools that support lap swim, the Seattle University Swim team and our Adult Swim Lessons program aimed at helping the SU community learn to swim or enhance their swimming skills.

A wide variety of facilities are available for UREC members including outdoor tennis courts, two basketball courts, outdoor and indoor multi-use turf fields, racquetball courts, functional exercise studio, cardio floor, strength floor, gender neutral restrooms and both wet and dry locker rooms.

The Fitness program offers a number of ways to support your fitness goals: Group Fitness Classes, Personal Training, Small Group Training and a number of specialty programs. 

Intramural Sports provides students, faculty, and staff the ability to play team and individual sports like flag football, soccer, softball, basketball, and more, all at no additional cost.

Sport Clubs offer students the ability to join with others who have shared competitive interests in a common activity. Sport clubs are student-run athletic teams who travel to compete against other universities.

The Outdoor program provides experiental learning opportunities for students through outdoor trips. We also offer services such as outdoor equipment rentals and discounted climbing gym access for current students, staff and faculty.

This award is the highest achievement for student leaders in Campus Recreation and recognizes outstanding leadership and academics. UREC students have won this award every year since 2012.
