Hi, my name is Dale Watanabe and I am the Director at the ISC. I work closely with our Assistant Directors, Marie Johnston, Sabeen Chaudhry, and Lauren Albano so we can keep up to date on all of our fantastic international students. A little about me: I taught English as a Second Language for seven years (3 years in Hyogo-ken, Japan and 4 years at Edmonds Community College) and have worked at Seattle University since winter quarter of 2001. I grew up on Seattle's Beacon Hill (famous for the pink building) and live in the house I grew up in. As some of you may know, my office is always open so please drop by and say hello!

I'm origianlly from Pakistan and moved to the U.S. in 2007. I completed my Masters in Student Development Administration at Seattle University in 2012. I worked as an International Student Advisor at Bellevue College for 3 years. I joined ISC in 2017. Helping International students navigate the unique challenges of the US education system has been a very rewarding experience for me. Outside of my ISC work, I enjoy family time, exercise and home improvement projects.

I’m Chloe and I am the newest Assistant Director here! I am originally from Spokane, Washington and I moved to Seattle when I started undergrad at Seattle University as an International Studies and Spanish major, with a minor in Business Administration. I loved being a Redhawk so much that after some time in the travel industry, I decided to come back and get my Master’s in Student Development Administration! When I am not studying or working, I love exploring coffee shops in Seattle, playing with my corgi, Waffles, or spending time with my husband and friends. I also love to travel and have been to more than 27 countries and 26 states. Come say hi!
