Our annual Lenten Prayer concert enfolds listeners in the peaceful beauty of contemplative choral music sung in The Chapel of St. Ignatius, one of Seattle’s most powerful, evocative sacred spaces. This year’s Lenten Prayer features the great music of Javier Busto, Carl Heinrich Graun, Francis Poulenc, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Willian Grant Still along with the heartwarming beauty of well-known and beloved spirituals and hymns. The evening’s contemplation is enriched by Lee Peterson’s Agnus Dei from Missa Animae and John Rutter’s The Lord.
