Seattle University’s Department of Criminal Justice is taking over the 36^th International Congress on Law and Mental Health in Rome, July 21 through 26. Twenty-six students, faculty, alumni, and advisory committee members will attend, 18 of who whom will be presenters.

As the Director of the SU Crime and Research Center, Jacqueline Helfgott, PhD, has served on the IALMH International Scientific Committee since 2013 and is responsible for organizing panels at The Congress. Her leadership has meant that students, faculty, alumni, and advisory committee members have participated in the biannual event in Amsterdam (2013), Vienna (2015), and Prague (2017).
