After hours call Public Safety at 206.296.5990.

An emergency is defined as loss of water, heat or electricity, electrical hazards, flooding, fire, elevator entrapment, gas leaks, lockouts or lock problems, or any condition that poses a significant imminent threat or potential hazard to the student, the residence hall, apartment, or the community.

Bed Bunking & Lofting

Any bed bunking and lofting of the beds must be performed by the Resident Hall Facilities group to insure that they are safety setup in resident rooms. For bed bunking, both students must be moved into the room and have agreed upon the beds being bunked before placing a work order.

High lofts are not allowed except for those setups in triple rooms that have the beds designed to do so. Resident Hall Facilities does not have any additional high lofts or kits available for request. Lower lofts are available, parts are limited to stock on hand and is on a first come, first request basis. Students need to please indicate which bed is to be lofted (right or left, north or south) when filling out a Work Order Request. Be specific.

Murphy Apartment residents can make requests to bunk their beds, however lofting beds in the Murphy's is not available.

Resident Hall Facilities does not service resident rooms in the Douglas building, and bed lofting is not available in the Douglas. Douglas residents needing assistance should contact the Douglas front desk at 206.220.8595.

For issues related to basic maintenance, bed bunking or lofting, pest control and cleaning services, complete a Work Order Request.
