SU Advance

  • SU ADVANCE Program supports the recruitment, retention, advancement, and professional growth of a diverse faculty. The program seeks to achieve institutional, cultural, and structural transformation that brought promotion standards, perceived expectations, and mentoring processes fully into line with the values-based educational mission of Seattle University.

Center for Faculty Development

  • Promotes the professional formation of all faculty through a scholarly and interdisciplinary approach to teaching, learning, and career development. Offers consultations, workshops, faculty writing groups, and other services as well as online resources on course design, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and more.

Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP)

  • External funding opportunities and support for faculty research.

Institutional Review Board (IRB)

  • Committee tasked with reviewing research according to federal regulations to protect the rights and welfare of human subject participants.

Funding Opportunities

  • Information on fellowships, grants, and stipends that carry monetary awards for faculty academic projects.

Center for Community Engagement (CCE)

  • Offers assistance to faculty who are interested in fostering positive social change through service-learning courses and community-based research projects.
