Human Resources

Access to reports developed by Institutional Research (SUDDs, Power BI, etc) will require a completed FERPA training.  FERPA training is provided by Human Resources through EngageSU.  If you are unsure of you have completed FERPA training, please log into EngageSU and view your transcript to confirm completed/archived trainings.

Confirm Completed FERPA Training

  1. Log into EngageSU with your SU credentials
  2. Hover over the Pulldown for Learning and Development and select View Your Transcript
  3. Find Filter by Training Status Pulldown and select Archived and/or Completed
  4. Confirm that FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) has been completed

InformSU

InformSU is a partnership between Institutional Research and ITS to provide information solutions to meet the university data, analysis and reporting needs.  Our mission is to enable SU staff and faculty to make data-informed decisions by providing access to interactive reports on current and historical trends on topics such as student enrollment and demographics, program review, finance and HR, student admission and retention.

NWCCU Accreditation

Seattle University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).  The university’s accreditation was most recently reaffirmed in 2018: Notification Letter of Accreditation Reaffirmation 2018.  NWCCU Accreditation processes are handled by University Planning.
