Events are open to all members of the SU community, including both prospective and returning study abroad students. Join us  in exploring international opportunities and reflecting on global experiences. 

Fall Quarter 2019

  • Hawks Abroad Fair - Tuesday, October 8th, Student Center 160, 11:00am-2:00pm
    • Come learn about international programs, scholarships, & how to get a passport at this annual event sponsored by the Education Abroad Office. Stop by the Fair to explore opportunities, get a henna tattoo, take a photo at the "Where Will You Go?" Photo Booth, and enter to win giveaways!

  • First Generation Students Abroad - Tuesday, October 15th, Outreach Center, 12:30-1:30pm
    • Interested but nervous to study abroad? Join us at the Outreach Center to talk about first steps and address hesitations with fellow first gen students who have been abroad

  • Study Abroad in Africa and the Middle East Workshop - Thursday, October 17th, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Interested in exploring beyond traditional study abroad location? Come learn about featured programs in Africa and the Middle East

  • Study Abroad in Asia and Oceania Workshop - Thursday, October 24th, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Come learn about our different programs in Asia and Oceania!

  • Study Abroad in Latin America Workshop - Thursday, October 31st, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Interested in going to Latin America to complete requirements for a Spanish Major or Minor? Come learn about our programs in Latin America!
  • Education Abroad Scholarship Workshop - Thursday, November 7th, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Not sure how you would fund an international experience? Come learn about scholarship opportunities for study abroad at this workshop co-sponsored by the Office of Fellowships.

  • Fulfilling UCORs Abroad Workshop - Thursday, November 14th, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Not sure what you want to study abroad? Come learn about how to complete your Module III Engaging the World University Core requirements on a study abroad program!

  • Research & Internships Abroad Workshop - Thursday, November 21st, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Interested in boosting your career potential by conducting research or doing an internship while abroad? Come join us to learn more about our programs that feature these components.

Winter Quarter 2020

  • Short-Term Hawks Abroad Fair - Friday, January 24th, Student Center Hearth, 12:00pm-2:00pm
    • Don't have time during the academic year to study abroad? Come learn about short-term programs created by our Seattle University Faculty! Take an SU class, earn SU credit, and go abroad with your class during Spring, Summer, or Winter Break!

Spring Quarter 2020

  • Identity based workshops will be incorporated into Pre-departure orientation
