Spring Quarter 2021

  • Global Trivia: Spring Festivals Edition - Thursday, April 1st 12:30pm-1:30pm PST
    • Come learn about Education Abroad at SU while competing with and meeting others in the SU community. Our theme is spring celebrations and festivals around the world. Bring your A game and have the chance to win a prize!

Winter Quarter 2021

  • Virtual Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage - Wednesday, February 17th - April 3rd
    • Join us in a Seattle University community move-a-thon traveling virtually though France and Spain along the ancient Camino de Santiago. During the season of Lent, complete the 480 mile route individually or split them among a team. Thanks to the generous support of our campus partners: Alumni Engagement, Center for Jesuit Education, Campus Ministry, College of Nursing, Dean of Students, and Office of Wellness and Health Promotion for their sponsorship of student, faculty/staff, and alumni entries.

  • Crêpes-Making Class - Thursday, January 14th 12:30pm-1:30pm PST
    • Bon appétit! Want to learn how to make a perfect French crepe? Join CEA Study Abroad for an authentic crepe tutorial from CEA Paris Program Director Alexandra Mitchell! Sweet? Savory? Either way, you wont' want to miss this!

Fall Quarter 2020

  • Welcome Week 2020 - August 31st - September 8th 
    • All new Redhawks are invited to attend Welcome Week 2020 hosted by offices, colleges, and departments across campus. This is a great opportunity to build community, get to know your new Redhawk family, and get involved with many great opportunities the Redhawk community has to offer.
  • Redhawks Abroad Welcome Week Info Session - Tuesday, September 1st, 12pm-1pm
    • Calling all new Redhawks! Come learn about Education Abroad at SU, hear from study abroad returnees, and get all the information you need to start planning your education abroad adventure!
  • Redhawks Around the World Week -  September 28th - October 2nd 
    • We don't know about you, but being stuck at home has made us longing for opportunities to see the world, engage with different cultures, and make meaningful relationships now more than ever! Join the Education Abroad Office in a week-long, virtual adventure to learn about future study abroad opportunities and how to start planning your next adventure today!   • Chinese Tea Ceremony - Tuesday, September 29th, 4:00pm PT
    • Join our friends at the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies for a virtual, traditional Chinese Tea ceremony!

  • Education Abroad Opportunities in Latin America -  Thursday, October 1st, 12:30pm-1:30pm PT
    • Interested in going to Latin America to complete requirements for a Spanish Major or Minor? Come learn about our programs, applicable scholarships, and the benefits of studying in Latin America!
  • Argentine Cooking Class - Thursday, October 1st, time TBD
    • Learn how to make empanadas and alfajores with the Residential Director of ISA Argentina, Guillermo Caceres, who will be joining us virtually from Buenos Aires!
  • Virtual Redhawks Abroad Fair - Friday, October 2nd, Virtual Exhibit Hall, 11am-2PM PT
    • Connect with representatives from the programs you're considering and gain more program-specific resources. Each representative will be hosting their own Zoom room that can be accessed through the Virtual Exhibit Hall!
