Events are open to all members of the SU community, including both prospective and returning study abroad students. Join us  in exploring international opportunities and reflecting on global experiences. 

Fall Quarter 2018

  • Hawks Abroad Fair - Tuesday, October 9th, Student Center 160, 11:00am-2:00pm
    • Come learn about international programs, scholarships, & how to get a passport at this annual event sponsored by the Education Abroad Office. Stop by the Fair to explore opportunities, get a henna tattoo, take a photo at the "Where Will You Go?" Photo Booth, and enter to win giveaways!
  • Education Abroad Scholarship Workshop - Tuesday, October 23rd, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Not sure how you would fund an international experience? Come learn about scholarship opportunities for study abroad at this workshop co-sponsored by the Office of Fellowships.
  • Fulfilling UCORs Abroad Workshop - Tuesday, October 30th, PAVL Living Room, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Not sure what you want to study abroad? Come learn about how to complete your Module III Engaging the World UCOR requirements on a study abroad program!

    • Interested in boosting your career potential by conducting research or doing an internship while abroad? Come join us to learn more about our programs that feature these components.

Winter Quarter 2019

  • Short-Term Hawks Abroad Fair - January 31st, Student Center Hearth, 12:00pm-2:00pm
    • Don't have time during the academic year to study abroad? Come learn about short-term programs created by our Seattle University Faculty! Take an SU class, earn SU credit, and go abroad with your class during Spring, Summer, or Winter Break!

Spring Quarter 2019

  • Women Studying Abroad Workshop - Tuesday, April 2nd, TBD, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Join us for a conversation about being a woman as it relates to Education Aborad. Hear stories from past participants and gather resources on how to stay safe, healthy, and culturally mindful while abroad.
  • Students of Color Studying Abroad Workshop - Tuesday, April 9th, TBD, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Join us for a conversation about being a person of color as it relates to Education Aborad. Hear stories from past participants and gather resources on how to stay safe, healthy, and culturally mindful while abroad.
  • White Students Studying in Majority Non-White Countries Workshop - Tuesday, April 16th, TBD, 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Join us for a conversation about being a white student studying abroad in a majority non-white country. Hear stories from past participants and gather resources on how to be culturally mindful while abroad. 
  • LGBTQ Students Studying Abroad Workshop - Tuesday, April 23rd, LGBTQ Lounge (STCN 390), 12:30pm-1:30pm
    • Join us for a conversation about gender identity and sexuality as it relates to Education Abroad. Hear stories from past participants and gather resources on how to stay safe, healthy, and culturally mindful as an LGBTQ student abroad.
