Much of the university’s internal communications are handled by Marketing Communications. In particular, our office:
- Sends “Campus News” announcements to faculty and staff twice a week to promote events on campus
- Distributes “Official Communications” e-mails, as needed, to inform the campus of important changes in university practices and personnel as well as other key campus developments
- Manages The Commons, Seattle University’s faculty and staff online news site
- Edits and approves events submitted to the university’s campus calendar
Other departments and offices that contribute to the university’s internal communications include, among others, the President’s Office, Provost’s Office, Human Resources, Office of Information Technology and Campus Public Safety.
