IRB Staffing and Timeline Implications

Due to budget cuts, the IRB office is now staffed by only the part-time administrator. Please plan accordingly for delays in response and approval. Thank you for your patience.

Coronavirus and Human Subjects Research

King County remains in Phase 2, therefore in-person interactions are restricted to ensure that research activities do not increase risk of virus transmission. Contact the IRB at irb@seattleu.edu or 206-296-2585 to ask about any permitted in-person activities before submitting your protocol. We will clarify restrictions and consult on possible alternatives.
