The Finance Manager is the designated approver for his/her activity string.
Current funds and grant funds will have budgets posted to the accounting system. Finance/Grant Managers are responsible for monitoring the budget to actual information and ensuring that funds are expended within University guidelines and grantor terms/conditions.
Restricted funds generally do not have budgets posted to the accounting system. To determine the funds available, subtract the year-to-date expenditures from the year-to-date revenues.
