The Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Engagement (CEIE) is guided by the Ignatian commitment to religious literacy (General Congregation 34), in the joy of “envisaging and engendering a heart open to the whole world,” as Pope Francis writes in his 2020 Encyclical Fratelli Tutti

CEIE provides opportunities for public learning, open to the whole world and rooted in Catholic identity.  Today, CEIE offers Webinars, Workshops, Courses dedicated to Seeking Religious Literacy. In 2023, CEIE developed this course in partnership with the Parliament of the World’s Religions, and faculty colleagues who bring over 150 years of combined experience in the field.
