From retreats for students of particular faith backgrounds to retreats focusing on specific interest areas, we hope you are able to find a retreat that meets your needs among our offerings. Many of our retreats depend on student leadership. If you are interested in serving as a leader on a particular retreat, please see our Retreat Leadership page.
Campus Ministry offers a host of core retreat experience to accompany you throughout your journey at SU. While there is no "correct" way to do retreats at SU, if you are looking for guidance about how the different retreats' content might synthesize with your experience at SU, we suggest beginning with New Student Retreat! Whether you attend New Student Retreat or not, another great retreat for your early years at SU is the Search Retreat. For deepening, we suggest attending one of our Ignatian Silent Retreats. Finally, we offer the Agape Retreat as a capstone retreat experience for juniors and seniors.
We encourage you to get creative! Supplement and/or substitute these retreats with some of our special and rotating retreats, and seek out opportunities to lead retreats.
In addition to our regular Core Retreat Experience offerings, Campus Ministry offers a host of rotating and special retreats in response to the particular needs and desires of our students in a given year. Some of our regular and historical rotating and special retreats include:

In Winter Quarter 2020, Campus Ministry will be offering a Seattle Urban Plunge over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. This program is a hybrid offering that bridges Campus Ministry Retreats and Social Justice Immersions.
Campus Ministry is inviting all female-identified folks to register for the Womxn’s Retreat, April 3-5, at Gwinwood Retreat Center in Lacey, WA. Our retreat theme is “Embodying the Sacred.” We’re looking forward to being in community together to share stories, relaxation time, and explore more about how we are the beloved of God and sacred in God’s eyes!
There are various opportunities for retreat leadership in Campus Ministry. Each year, Campus Ministry seeks enthusiastic, thoughtful, and engaged student leaders for its retreats. Some of the annual retreat leader opportunities include:
