The Roger Gillis, S.J. Endowment to Enliven the Student Experience will enable Seattle University's Campus ministry to grow the number of retreats offered each year and provide greater access to immersions for students with financial need. This will strengthen experiences of community and service at Seattle U and preserve in perpetuity Father Gillis' legacy of connecting with students wherever they may be on their life's journey by providing spaces of welcome, acceptance and care.

The New Student Retreat offers first-year and transfer students the opportunity for personal reflection and small group sharing on topics including supportive relationships, discernment, spirituality and making a home at Seattle U.
Rooted in Jesuit tradition, the Search Retreat is designed to promote a broader understanding of spirituality, helping students to move further in their own unique journey within the context of a loving community.
Immersions are international and domestic service-based experiences exploring social justice, what it means to be global citizens in solidarity with those on the margins of society and the intersections of faith and justice.
