Seattle University is committed to promoting a safe and healthy environment that supports the growth and achievement of university community members. Academic Safety partners with the campus community to develop and implement programs and tools in service of campus health and safety.
Safety doesn't happen by accident. Daily contributions from every community member help to build a culture of safety and mindfulness that ensure everyone can go home as well or better than they were when they arrived at campus that morning.
The Academic Safety Officer joined Seattle University in May 2022 and serves as the university's Chemical Hygiene Officer and Biosafety Officer. Keep an eye out for expansions to the tools and resources available on this page in the coming months.
