Safety Culture

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is intended to support the safety of Seattle University's built environment.

Our campus Safety Ethic: “Act with integrity. Care for the safety of others first. Lead with accountability and humility.” We all have an active role in maintaining a safe and productive academic environment.

Seattle University's "safety culture" is the collective attitudes, beliefs, values, and perceptions we all share about safety. A positive safety culture mitigates risk and keeps our campus safe and in compliance.
