Where does your trash go after you put it in the bin?

• Once the bins are full, they are emptied into one of two trash compactors on campus.
• Our trash is collected by Seattle Public Utilities and loaded onto a mile-long train. 
• The train then travels over 300 miles to the Columbia Ridge landfill in Arlington, Oregon.
