What is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity?

Once a year, Christians around the world come together to pray for unity. Congregations and communities all over the earth hold special celebrations or services, and plan for the year ahead. The week is celebrated January 18th-25th, between the feasts of St Peter and St Paul. Visible unity is a gift to be shared. Disunity disrupts community and society, and harms well-being in the world. This week is a reminder to all people how intentional unity is a benefit to all of society. The Center encourages you to view the leading resources in the right-most panel for the Week! And then, listen below to students, alumni, ecumenical partners, staff, faculty and administrators, as they reflect on unity. What is your commitment to unity in the coming week?
