Public affairs graduates are employed primarily in local or state government, or the nonprofit sector. Our alumni work in the areas of education, urban planning, transportation, advocacy and communications, health, and human services. Public affairs alumni also pursue positions with AmeriCorps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and Peace Corps after graduation. Many of our alumni go on to earn a master's degree in public health, urban planning, student development, or public administration.
