Dear Professor, They Call My School the Slave Ship: BIPOC Educators on Healing, Love, and Hope in the Pursuit of Justice and the Creation of a Better World
with Charisse Cowan Pitre, Ph.D., College of Education

In this talk, Professor Cowan Pitre shares lessons from more than two decades of teaching and learning with K-12 teachers working to advance justice through education. She invites us to consider how the experiences and voices of BIPOC educators and others working to dismantle inequitable educational systems can help us resist all systems of oppression and gain renewed hope during dark and uncertain times.
