The Indigenous Peoples Institute and the Center for Jesuit Education invite you to join in a birthday celebration for Kiowa poet and storyteller N. Scott Momaday. After a lifetime of sharing stories and words, Momaday passed away at the age of 89 on Jan. 24, 2024. His novels, poems, essays and short stories shaped a landscape and created space for other Native voices. Join in honoring and celebrating that work by reading some of his words together and listening to recordings of his voice.
