While summer can be a slow season for many campus areas, it is a time that Event Sales and University Events ramp up and to serve approximately 40 summer overnight programs.

Throughout the summer, Event Sales will send an update on the groups you can expect to see at Seattle University. In the upcoming few weeks, you may see guests around campus from the following programs:

New Programs:

  • AI for Equity: a Seattle University program for high school students interested in criminal law and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide positive early college experiences.
  • Julie Woodward Women’s Soccer Camp: a soccer camp led by our own Seattle University women’s soccer coaches.
  • York-Benimaru Program Group: an English language and American culture camp for youth visiting from Japan.
  • City University Summer in Seattle: an English language and American culture camp for college students visiting from Mexico.

Continuing Programs:

  • Upward Bound: a summer-long academic program that helps locals kids prepare for college
  • Intern housing: living accommodations for students at universities from all over the US who are participants in an internship program in the Seattle area; many of these students will be staying all summer.
