From the College of Arts and Sciences - Pathways to Professional Formation:
LinkUp is a structured, low-key, networking event that connects current Arts & Sciences undergraduate and graduate students with A&S alumni.
Meet alumni, discover shared interests, discuss professional plans and ideas and start a mentoring relationship.
Not all mentoring opportunities have to be time-consuming or highly structured. We believe that our students can get a wealth of information in quick bursts. Some of the most impactful conversations could be had during a 10-15 minute session.
There will be three short rounds of connections (15 minutes) where students get to practice speaking with people in a wide range of industries. Our goal is to have our students connect with at least three mentors during the event.
We welcome SU students of all class years and encourage you to come every year. This is a great opportunity to build your networking skills and confidence.
