What is Changing?

Currently, students, faculty and staff use the Virtual Desktop (VDI) for accessing software. Redhawk Labs is replacing the VDI for Fall 2022 and ITS is retiring the VDI on Sept. 30, 2022.

What is Redhawk Labs and how will it impact my work?

Redhawk Labs is a virtual computer that can be accessed 24x7 from any web browser. Just like the VDI, it allows users to access specialized software via a virtual desktop.

How do I access Redhawk Labs?

Everyone can access Redhawk labs via https://seattleu.apporto.com/. Additionally, students can access Redhawk labs via Canvas

Note: If faculty would like to add the Redhawk Labs to a course in Canvas, please visit this guide: Adding the Redhawk Labs App to Canvas.
