ICTC Fellowships
The Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture (ICTC) invites you to apply for the 2024-2025 ICTC Faculty Summer Research Fellowships. ICTC will be accepting applications for the Summer Faculty Research Fellowship to fund projects that advance the University’s Jesuit Catholic Mission through faculty research. Please note that the application period for Course Development Grants is in the spring.

Faculty Summer Research Fellowships (up to $7,100) encourage the exploration of a rich Catholic intellectual tradition that has made contributions in the humanities, literature and the arts, natural and social sciences, social movements and ethics across disciplines. Applications that focus on recent areas of exploration by the ICTC are especially encouraged, such as migration and displacement; integral ecology and environmental justice; Catholic imagination and the arts; and racial and economic justice. Through these fellowships, you are able to travel for research purposes, visit archives, engage ethnographic work and have time to write. Applicants seeking to be published will be prioritized. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, Nov. 15; you can find all of the application materials and guidelines on the ICTC website.

Have questions? Visit ICTC at the OSP Community Luncheon & Scholarship Resource Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 18 (11 a.m.–1 p.m., Oberto Commons) or join a Zoom Info-session on Friday, Oct. 20 at noon. RSVP to ictc@seattleu.edu for the Zoom link.
