Hedreen Gallery: "Both Sides Now" Opening and Artist Talk

Join us in the gallery Friday, Oct. 21! Come for the meaningful thought behind these works at the 4 p.m. artist talk and stay for the food, drinks and community during the 5-8 p.m. opening celebration.

Artists Tara Tamaribuchi, Rodrigo Valenzuela and Samantha Wall speak to the elusive sense of identity in the immigrant experience, unprescribed by a singular feeling of cultural belonging. In this young country, formed by colonization, borders and immigration, "Both Sides Now" is a story touching every family. Generation after generation, we renegotiate who belongs and who does not. From unique vantage points, these evocative works create tangible realities of emotional complexities.

Hedreen Gallery exhibitions and events are free and open to ALL.
