Cultivating BIPOC Student Community

Posted: November 4, 2021

Campus Ministry and the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) are collaborating this year to support BIPOC students in new ways. Please help share the word about these opportunities with students. If you’re interested in helping to fund either of the following programs, please e-mail Victoria Carr-Ware carrv@seattleu.edu.

  • BIPOC Students Community Lunch, Tuesday, Nov. 16, 12:30 p.m., OMA Lounge (STCN 322) | A simple lunch will be provided. For catering purposes, RSVP on ConnectSU.

  • Rooted: A Retreat for Students of Color, January 7–9, 2022 | This is an opportunity for students of color to find rest, explore intersecting identities, cultivate community and have fun—all at a beautiful waterfront location. Join for a weekend of renewal led by BIPOC staff. Register by December 6.
