Celebration of Life and Love for Dr. Joseph Scott

The campus community is invited to a Celebration of Life and Love for Dr. Joseph Scott, Saturday, March 23, at 10 a.m., at the Chapel of St. Ignatius. Dr. Scott, the husband of Dr. Nina Valerio (Professor Emerita in the College of Education), passed away in January. Among other accomplishments during a lifetime of great impact, Dr. Scott founded the American Ethnic Studies department at the University of Washington and earned multiple honors as an educator, scholar and author.
