Dharma Talk Series 23-24
Register for the event

CEIE believes that religious literacy is an integral part of our society and learning, especially from the lens of a Jesuit university. CEIE invites you to experience the Dharma Talks in-person at our day-long program featuring three speakers from different Buddhist traditions. A Dharma talk is a public discourse on Buddhism by a Buddhist teacher. We welcome Ajahn Nisabho Bhikkhu from Clear Mountain Monastery, Dr. Bonnie Duran from Spirit Rock Meditation Centre and Venerable Thubten Chodron from the Sravasti Abbey. Each teacher will offer meditation, teaching and respond to questions.

**This event will be filmed and will be made available throughout the academic year. For those who do not wish to be on camera, we will have a special seating section away from the camera.**

Participation will be limited to 40 individuals. We encourage you to stay for the entire event. A vegetarian lunch will be provided. Free parking passes are available for those who request them by Saturday, Oct. 21.

  • Ajahn Nisabho: How Dharma Practice Brings Inner Peace and Wisdom, 10–11 a.m.
  • Bonnie Duran: No Enemies in a Divisive Political World, 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
  • Venerable Thubten Chodron:Karma and Rebirth, 1–2 p.m.
