Bloodworks Northwest, a partner of Seattle University, believes in giving research the best possible start. Its Research Donor Program provides blood to hospitals, research institutions and biotech organizations so they can pursue scientific knowledge and medical breakthroughs for diseases (autoimmune, heart disease, cancers, sickle cell disease, infections) impacting millions of lives.

Both deferred and qualified blood donors are eligible to donate for research. Eligibility can vary, depending on the project. Research blood donations occur primarily at Bloodworks Central (First Hill, Seattle) location.

Reimbursement is provided following each appointment, commensurate with time commitment. Personally identifiable information is kept completely confidential.

Please find additional information at Bloodworks Northwest

If you are interested in this opportunity, please get in touch with Bloodworks Northwest study coordinators by e-mailing DonateForResearch@BloodworksNW.org. Their study coordinators can provide more details (including reimbursement information).
