Congratulations to Dr. Nick Huntington-Klein, assistant professor of economics, on his recent award from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. The grant provides more than $500,000 in support of Huntington-Klein’s work on evaluating the decisions made by investigators in conducting applied economics research and the implications of those decisions on replication. Results of the work are anticipated to identify which steps in the research process are most responsible for between-researcher variation in analytical decisions and lead to a set of recommendations around how researchers can improve consistency in economic research.
