Join in celebrating the hard work of the 2024 Design Cohort at the opening reception for “NOVA.”
From the exhibition team:
“‘NOVA’ is a culmination of our hard work and evolution as designers at Seattle University. A nova is an astronomical event that translates to ‘new star’ in Latin.
“While coming up with a theme that represented us as a cohort, we first landed on the idea of a constellation, with each of us as unique, individual stars unified. This evolved into 'NOVA,' symbolizing us as new stars in the professional design world. Like a nova’s light suddenly brightens, we wanted to highlight the best of our work in the Design program.
“The explosion of light reflects our launch into different artistic directions as our time as a cohort together comes to an end. 'NOVA' celebrates the 2024 Student Design Cohort as 14 individual designers and their growth in this senior exhibition."
