The Registrar bears the ultimate responsibility for the operation and functioning of the University Registrar Office. This includes, but is not limited to employee and budget management, annual planning, representation on University committees and task forces. Additionally, the Registrar is responsible for understanding and applying legal and governmental regulations, such as FERPA, as they apply to student records and academic policies.

Associate Registrar - Academic Programs

The Associate Registrar - Academic Programs is responsible for work within the office related to curriculum documentation, including the academic catalog and degree audits. This role, and the team of Academic Specialists, processes curricular petition exceptions and supports academic and professional advisors in providing excellent curricular and academic policy guidance. The Associate Registrar - Academic Programs also provides thought leadership to curricular updates and policy management as well as Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act interpretation and guidance.

Associate Registrar - Systems

The Associate Registrar - Systems serves under the Office of the Registrar and provides analysis and functional support of the student information system (Ellucian Colleague) and other integrated systems used by the Office of the Registrar. The Associate Registrar - Systems works closely with Information Technology Services and administrators and staff from other enrollment services and academic services offices.

Assistant Registrar

The Assistant Registrar handles operational planning and day of event support for commencement, convocation and other formal university events as needed. This role also oversees the customer service functions of the Office of the Registrar and manages the Communication Representative and the Registration Representative.

University Academic Scheduler

The University Academic Scheduler serves as the liaison between the Office of the Registrar and the individual college schedulers in order to best plan for future academic quarters.  Additionally, the University Academic Scheduler manages the academic room utilization program across the university.

Academic Records Specialist

The Academic Records Specialist manages transcript requests, diplomas, and enrollment verifications for undergraduate and graduate students (except Law School students). This role also maintains permanent record organization and filing for the Office of the Registrar.

Registration Representative

The Registration Representative processes all current quarter withdrawals, petitions related to registration, independent study and internship requests, hardship withdrawals, and manages all faculty roster check follow-up activity.

Communications Representative

The Communications Representative maintains the Office of the Registrar website, processes various forms and letters, and serves as back up for the Academic Records Specialists. The Communications Representative oversees the Redhawk Service Center, Office of the Registrar service desk and supervises student workers who provide assistance to students through the Redhawk Service Center.

General Academic Specialist

The General Academic Specialist serves as a policy expert and resource for students and faculty regarding academic requirements for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Additionally, the General Academic Specialist processes requests for exception to policy, manages & updates the online University catalog, and updates and maintains transfer guides.

Athletics Certifying Official & Academic Specialist (A-L)

The Academic Specialist staff serve as policy experts and resources for students and faculty regarding academic requirements for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Additionally, Specialists process requests for change of majors, declaration of minors, and evaluate applications for graduation.

The Certification Official works closely with Athletics staff to monitor the academic performance of athletes and ensure continued athletic eligibility.

Specialists are available for student appointments during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as well as via e-mail or phone. Please schedule an appointment with Pablo ahead of time to ensure he will be able to meet with you.

Veterans Benefits Certifying Official & Academic Specialist (M-Z)

The Academic Specialist staff serve as policy experts and resources for students and faculty regarding academic requirements for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Additionally, Specialists process requests for change of majors, declaration of minors, and evaluate applications for graduation.

The Certification Official monitors and reports quarterly certifications to the Veterans Administration for students receiving VA benefits.

Specialists are available for student appointments during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., as well as via e-mail or phone.
