Xavier Hall is located on the north end of campus and houses Xavier Global House. Approximately 180 residents choose to live in Xavier. Because of its size, you can enjoy a noteworthy sense of community and find it easy to know each other by name. Each room has modular furniture and a micro-fridge.

Home to Modern Languages and Literature, Xavier has a distinct global feel. Located in the first-floor lobby are a TV and a DVD player that has a satellite connection with a global perspective package. The lower level is an education suite with two classrooms, a seminar room, a computer lab, and a demonstration kitchen. An adjacent basement lounge/game room is ideal for planned or spur-of-the-moment gatherings.

Xavier Hall houses the Atlas Residential Learning Community (RLC). RLCs are intentional thematic learning communities where students are invited to grow, develop, and explore common interests around a central theme with peers, faculty and staff. Atlas RLC fosters cross-cultural connections and global awareness by bringing together students who are passionate about exploring diverse perspectives, engaging in intercultural dialogue, and developing skills for global citizenship.

Housing and Residence Life (HRL) is staffed by many people with whom you will interact while living in your on-campus community. Each residential community is staffed by full-time professionals, graduate staff, and student staff who provide support, coordination, and leadership within their communities.

The Resident Minister also lives in the residence hall community, builds relationships with residents, and serves as part of the hall staff. They provide pastoral care in collaboration with Jesuits in Residence, Residential Life, and Campus Ministry. Resident Ministers are faculty or staff members at Seattle University.
