Biography

Alyssa Lout, MA, LMHC, SUDP is an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling Program. Alyssa teaches the practicum and internship counseling classes. Alyssa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Substance Use Disorder Professional and Clinical Supervisor specializing in therapy with adolescents, couples, families and adults of all ages. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Seattle University in 2012. She also received a Master of Arts in Education, specializing in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University in 2015. Alyssa has provided mental health care in a variety of settings during her career including inpatient, intensive outpatient programs, detention centers and group practice. Currently, she works as a private practice therapist in Edmonds, WA.
