One of the areas of focus for The Collegia Program is on increasing accessibility to sustainable practices and resources to the students we serve - commuter, transfer, graduate students, and adult learners.
The Collegia Program aims to provide resources for students to alleviate financial barriers to sustainable practices, while co-creating a campus culture of shared responsibility of sustainability.
Students can get stars and rewards for the small eco-conscious decisions they already make. To join our stamp card program, RSVP on ConnectSU.
Get stars by taking a selfie of:
-Your purchase at a local-to-you cafe and a selfie of you recycling your cup/food packaging
-You making a beverage at home
Want an extra half-star? Post any of the above photos on social media and tag us at @sucollegia (redeemable for each task)
Some of the prizes include:
-Reusable straws
-Bamboo toothbrushes
-Reusable, locally designed, limited edition tote bag
Watch out for quarterly workshops in collaboration with campus partners to promote sustainability education. Workshops topics will vary to educate students on sustainable living practices, such as how to upcycle everyday items and sustainable eating habits.
