Ignite Mentorship Program

Box with text,

The Ignite Mentorship Program is a new campus-wide initiative for Fall 2018. The program offers new undergraduate, first time in college and transfer students the opportunity to work with a faculty, staff or graduate student mentor in their first year at SU. We know that mentorship can be a powerful tool for student success.

Mentors will come from the faculty, staff and current graduate students. Each mentor will be paired with one incoming student to accompany them through their first year at SU. If you're a faculty member, staff member, or continuing graduate student, serving as a mentor, you'll find a growing list of resources on the Mentor page and some answers on our Mentor FAQs page.

If you find yourself interested, but still have questions or cannot make these dates, please get in touch with any member of the planning team.
