Nursing
In nursing, our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs support RNs, BSNs and master’s-prepared nurses who are ready to enter advanced practice nursing. Our Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion (APNI) program is designed for college graduates from non-nursing backgrounds who want to enter the profession and earn a DNP. We also offer post-graduate certificates for current nurse practitioners seeking to expand their scope of practice.

Health Sciences
On the health sciences side, our MS in Kinesiology features two tracks: Data in Performance Science and Research in Performance and Movement Science, preparing graduates for careers in human performance, movement science and sport analytics.

Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion for Non-Nurses

Seattle University’s Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion program is designed for college graduates from a non-nursing background who are ready to enter the nursing profession at the doctoral level. This pathway leads to our nationally ranked Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and prepares you for ARNP certification in one of five specializations:

Post-Master's and Post-Doctoral Nursing Certificates for ARNPs

Our post-graduate certificates provide current nurse practitioners the opportunity to expand their expertise and specialize in additional areas of advanced practice. Each certificate prepares you for certification in your chosen field and builds on your existing clinical experience. Certificate specializations include:

Our MS in Kinesiology prepares students for careers in human performance, movement science and sport analytics. The program offers two specialized tracks to match your interests and goals:

An interdisciplinary track focused on sport performance, human optimization and health analytics.
Research in Performance and Movement Science
A thesis-based track for students interested in original research in movement, exercise and performance science.
