Q: What should I do if I am expecting a package containing perishable items?

A: Please reach out to us via these methods to notify us ahead of time and to schedule delivery or arrange to pick up the package(s). Mailing Services does not provide refrigeration and is not responsible for spoilage. More details about our policy here.

Q: Does Mailing Services Accept Cash?

A: Mailing Services processes mail for University Departments ONLY by using departmental budget numbers. If you would like to send a package using other methods of payment please see SUperCopy.

Q: When is the mail picked up from SU departments?

A: Mail is picked up from departments by 12:00pm Monday-Friday.

Q: When is the mail picked up by the United States Post Office?

A: Mail is picked up from Mailing Services by the post office by 1:00pm Monday-Friday. Mail is also picked up from the USPS Mailbox in front of Startbucks on 12th and Columbia M-F at 10am and Saturday at 10am.

Q: When is the mail picked up from SU Dorms?

A: Mail is picked up from dorms by 12:00pm Monday-Friday.

Q: When does UPS pick up?

A: UPS is picked up by 3:00pm Monday-Friday.  Please have your UPS packages to SUperCopy at least 30 minutes before the listed pick up time.

Q: When does FEDEX pick up?

A: FedEx is picked up by 3:00pm Monday-Friday.  Please have your FedEx packages to SUperCopy at least 30 minutes before the listed pick up time.

A: UPS is picked up by 3:00pm Monday-Friday.  Please have your UPS packages to Mailing Services at least 30 minutes before the listed pick up time.

Q: May I borrow your hand truck?

A: Faculty and Staff may borrow Mailing Services hand trucks ONLY AFTER 12:00pm.  Please be ready to leave your state ID or some sort of collateral in Mailing Services.

Q: Where do I go to track my package?

Q: My Package contents were broken during shipment.  Who do I contact?

A: If you receive your package damaged you will need to contact the shipper; USPS, UPS, FedEx etc.

Q: What about the Klovenbach Community, Logan Court Townhomes, and the Douglas Apartments?

A: We do not deliver or pick mail up from these residential halls as they are out of our delivery area.  Mail goes directly to and from these halls and not through our facility.
