Transcripts

All transcript requests will be fulfilled through the National Student Clearinghouse online ordering process. The Seattle University fee for each transcript will be $7.50. National Student Clearinghouse processing and delivery charges will also apply based on the delivery option selected—total cost $10.50 for an e-transcript, and printed transcripts start at $12.25 for regular US mailing. Additional delivery options are also available.

Please note: Official transcripts are no longer official once opened or downloaded and will display “copy” if re-sent/copied/scanned.

Electronic Transcripts

  1. Access the National Student Clearinghouse website.
  2. Place your order and pay online using your credit card.
  3. Sign the online consent form to confirm your order.
  • Electronic transcripts are $7.50 per transcript (a $3.00 National Student Clearinghouse fee will also be applied).
  • Electronic transcripts are usually sent within 1 business day.
  • When ordering online, you can also upload additional forms that need to be included with your transcript.
  • You will receive e-mail confirmations of receipt, processing and mailing.

Printed Transcripts

  1. Access the National Student Clearinghouse website.
  2. Place your order and pay online using your credit card.
  3. Sign the online consent form to confirm your order.
  • Paper transcripts are $7.50 per transcript (additional National Student Clearinghouse fees added based on delivery option, starting at $4.65).
  • You will receive e-mail confirmation from the National Student Clearinghouse that your order has been processed.  This indicates that Seattle University has received your transcript request.
  • Paper transcripts will be mailed within 2-3 business days.
  • When ordering online, you can also upload additional forms that need to be included with your transcript.

*As of August 4, 2021, paper transcripts transitioned to a third-party vendor for processing and have a different appearance than previous SU transcripts.

Major GPA is not on an unofficial or official transcript , the only way to calculate a GPA for a specific program is by hand calculation using the catalog to select the coursework to combine for the GPA calculation.
