Personal Bio
Jun Duanmu was born and raised in Shanghai, China. He earned a PhD in finance from the University of Arkansas in 2015 . He also holds a MS Finance from the University of Arizona and BS Mathematics from Zhejiang University. Before joining Seattle University in 2020, he was Chase Bank Endowed Assistant Professor of finance for four years at Louisiana Tech University. Dr. Duanmu is an active CFA charter-holder. Dr. Duanmu teaches primarily financial management, corporate finance and investments courses. Dr. Duanmu's research interests are empirical asset pricing, investments, performance evaluations and hedge funds. He published several articles in leading journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and the Financial Review. His research has been presented at national conferences such as FMA, EFA, and SWFA.
