Redhawk Launch

Join Seattle University's Redhawk Launch, an in-person event for admitted students and families to explore campus resources, meet new friends, and prepare for the fall term.

Redhawk Launch Header

Redhawk Launch is an in-person experience for you and your family to join us on campus to learn about essential campus resources and find your flock of new friends. We strongly encourage you to attend Redhawk Launch so you can be prepared to start classes in the Fall. However, participation is not a required part of Orientation.

Redhawk Launch takes place on the following dates:

  • Monday, July 1 – Tuesday, July 2
  • Monday, July 15 – Tuesday, July 16
  • Thursday, July 18 – Friday, July 19
  • Friday, September 20 (one-day event)

Please do not finalize travel plans to attend a Redhawk Launch session before you receive confirmation of your RSVP, as space for each session is limited.

A one-day Redhawk Launch will be held on Friday, September 20. Sign-up priorities for this session are given to international students, students and families traveling from Hawai’i, and our far-flying Redhawks from out-of-state.

  • Students: Log into your Orientation Portal and click on the “Orientation Events” tab. There is no fee to attend Redhawk Launch. The cost of this program is included in the Orientation Fee that is part of your Fall Quarter bill.
  • Guests: After students sign up to attend Redhawk Launch, they can add up to 2 guests to their RSVP.

There are no additional fees to change which Session you plan to attend. If you have already signed up for Redhawk Launch and would like to change which Session you plan to attend, please follow these steps:

  • Up to one week (7 calendar days) before the start date of the event: Please visit the Orientation Events tab in your Orientation Portal and select a new date.
